Kathi Gatlin

Kathi Gatlin founded Boldly Loved and co-founded the Companioning Center to bring together her two greatest passions: spiritual formation and teaching. In this, she utilizes her M.Ed. earned through George Fox University and her M.A. in Spiritual Formation from Portland Seminary. Her greatest joy is walking alongside others, individually and in groups, in their own spiritual journey, sharing ways of understanding God anew through contemplative prayer and teaching, and to see them grow in the depth of their own understanding of who God is and who they are in relationship with God. Kathi is a certified spiritual director, writer, spiritual formation group facilitator, retreat speaker, leadership mentor, and adjunct professor at George Fox University. With all the things that take up space in our busy lives, how do we live as the people we are called and designed to be? Taking time to discern what we actually want out of life, especially a life lived faithfully with God, ourselves, and others takes quiet and space to listen deeply. Join us as we embark on a conversation to create a framework which supports faithfulness, health, healing, and wholeness. This isn't about starting another to-do list but an invitation to practice listening with our whole selves and design a guiding framework so we can live out of our core values, deepest desires, and sacred calling.

To help guide our conversation we will be using the following book that you will need to purchase separately.

Shigematsu, Ken. God in My Everything: How an Ancient Rhythm Helps Busy People Enjoy God. First edition. Grand Rapids, Michigan: Zondervan, 2013. ISBN: 978-0-310-49925-1

Join us as we travel through this topic in a safe and sacred group with others who are also interested in following this journey.

What you can expect:

  • Approximately 2-3 hours of homework each week
  • Engaging reading and activities designed for greater self-awareness
  • Safe small group discussion with Kathi Gatlin and Lynn Holt
  • Small Class Size
  • Optional one-on-one meeting with a certified spiritual director for an additional suggested donation ($80)  - available online or in person
